ION Glass
Premium glass protection, powered by ION Technology.
Ceramic Pro ION Glass brings the power of proprietary Ion-Exchange Technology to automotive glass — delivering hydrophobic performance, high-clarity vision and simplified professional installation in a single-component system.
Part of the Ceramic Pro ION premium family
ION Glass extends the proprietary Ion-Exchange Technology of the Ceramic Pro ION family to automotive glass — advanced chemistry, exceptional visibility and streamlined installation in one professional-grade coating.

Designed Specifically for Glass
Unlike paint surfaces, glass already provides the ideal substrate for ion-exchange interaction.
Because of this, Ceramic Pro ION Glass works as a true single-component system — eliminating the need for a separate base layer while still delivering the benefits of Ion-Exchange Technology.
Superior Visibility in Heavy Rain
A strong hydrophobic effect rapidly sheds water off the windshield, helping maintain visibility in challenging conditions.
Crystal-Clear Vision
A high-clarity finish with no oily-film effect — clear optical performance by day and at night.
Enhanced Durability
Tested beyond 500 abrasion cycles for strong resistance to wiper wear and demanding conditions.
Long-Term Performance
Engineered for up to 365 days of reliable protection from a single professional application.
Part of the Premium ION Product Family
Offer customers the latest evolution of Ceramic Pro ION technology and expand your premium service portfolio.
Single-Component Application
No base coat required — fewer steps and a faster professional installation.
Forgiving Application Process
Flexible dwell time: unlike 9H, extended dwell will not damage the coating — buff it off when ready.
Professional-Grade Results
A premium coating engineered for advanced detailing centers that prioritize process quality and a consistent customer experience.
Future-Ready Compliance
A PFAS-free, fluorine-free formulation with full REACH compliance — engineered to align with evolving environmental regulations and rising customer expectations.
ION Glass vs Conventional Glass Coatings
Engineered specifically for glass — not adapted from a paint coating. Here is how its single-component, ion-exchange approach compares with conventional silane and quartz glass coatings.

The result is a faster, more forgiving professional installation, PFAS-free chemistry and durability built for real-world wiper wear.
Developed in the Lab. Validated on the Road.
Ceramic Pro ION Glass was evaluated in demanding wet-weather environments where frequent rain and intensive wiper use accelerate coating wear — helping confirm long-term hydrophobic performance and visibility under real driving conditions.
Engineered for clarity. Powered by ION.
Ceramic Pro ION Glass combines advanced ion-exchange chemistry, exceptional hydrophobic performance and premium optical clarity in a single professional-grade coating.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is Ceramic Pro ION Glass?+
Ceramic Pro ION Glass is a next-generation invisible glass coating powered by Ion-Exchange Technology, engineered for long-term durability, hydrophobic performance and resistance to wiper-induced micro-abrasion, with a stable, high-clarity finish.
Does ION Glass require a separate base coat?+
No. Glass provides the ideal substrate for ion-exchange interaction, so ION Glass works as a true single-component system — no separate base layer is needed.
How many layers should be applied?+
Two layers are highly recommended for a longer-lasting protective effect. Two layers is the maximum.
How long does ION Glass take to cure?+
Initial bonding is immediate. First hydrophobic performance can be evaluated after 24 hours, and first abrasion resistance after 72 hours.
Is surface preparation required?+
Yes. Strong adhesion is achieved only on a pure glass surface. The glass must be polished, washed and degreased with IPA and fully dry before application.
